As I am sitting here uploading some favorite photos I have realized that 2015 brought a lot of firsts for me! Fresh 48, Trash The Dress, a styled shoot and my first in person workshop (With the fabulous Meg Bitton in NYC)! How fun!! :-)
2015 started out with lots of babies!! I did my first Fresh 48 (which I LOVED! It is more of a lifestyle session within 48 hours of the baby's birth) and a few newborn sessions.
Late winter brought me plenty of One Year sessions and Cake Smashes! I just love this age. Usually I don't have to work TOO hard to get a smile out of them, but even if they aren't smiling they are still so gosh darn cute!! I started playing around with more artsy textures and edits on portraits and Uggghh.. I am in love. It is so much fun to me. I would LOVE to do more of these
sessions in 2016!
Time to get dirty!! I always say the messier the better!! ;-) Spring time brought some much anticipated time outside!! What a winter we had stuck inside!!
Spring time also brought another baby boom! :-)
It Ahhh... Sweet sweet summer!!
I had the opportunity to do my first styled shoot at the end of the summer! My gosh we had so much fun!! I also would love to do more of these sessions in 2016! :-)
In comes fall!! The busiest few months of the year! Fall foliage then it moves right into Christmas!
The end of the year was quite exciting with a workshop in NYC with Meg Bitton! She is an amazingly talented artist. This was one of the models for our shoot <3 Meg inspired me to go out and work on more fine art shoots which is something I absolutely LOVE!! Definitely more of these to come in 2016! :-)
Thank you so much supporting me and my dreams!! Here is to a new year of learning and growing!! :-)
]]>I had so much fun with these seniors!

Time for a little fun :-)
While the boys were playing I was able to get some gorgeous shots of Tessa and Adam. They are the cutest!

Sister Camilla came to see me when she was 7 weeks old, so it was fun seeing her as a big sister! :-)

She really did awesome and I did not blame her for wanting a break!! Its hard work to be so cute!!! :-)
]]>Thank you to the Thompson's for allowing me capture these these special moments for you! <3
Athena came in with a grand entrance!!! Not only did she come early, she came in the middle of the biggest blizzard of 2015!!! And to top it off, she was quite comfortable inside Mommy during labor that she had to make her debut via c-section. Mommy and Athena looked gorgeous when I arrived after such a dramatic entrance into the world!! <3
Athena was quite happy nursing and really wanted no part of anything else. LOL (And ditto to that during her studio newborn session!! ;-) )
She was the queen of sneezes and yawns and they were all so adorable!
Look at all that hair!!
Mom and Dad were clearly head over heels for their love <3
This girl has some serious length on her lashes!! I'm so jealous!!
Congratulations, Joe and Asuka!!
xoxox <3
]]>Like most 3 year olds, big sis was a little shy to get in front of the camera! After some requests, she was up for the task ;-)
Please enjoy this little sneak peek of this beautiful family! :-)
Do we see another generation of fire fighters here??
Taking a ride in the clouds :-)
Hush little baby <3
]]>Thank you to the Ordway Family for allowing me to take part in such a personal moment in your lives!
My goal for this type of visit was to capture life. Real life. Some folks call this "Lifestyle Photography".
Mom really wanted me to capture the older siblings meeting their sister for the first time. What a joy this was. I left the hospital with sore cheeks because I was smiling the entire time!! lol
It was quiet when I arrived as Dad was picking the older kids up. A perfect time to capture Mom and Baby.
After a while, we could see the rest of the family arrive out of the room window. It was quite exciting! We could hear them coming down the hallway with excitement to see their Mom and new sister.
Alice was especially expressive over her excitement!! Biggest brother Connor was so helpful with his little brother and sister. He immediately picked Alice up so she could get her first peek at her new sister. Jack was a bit more shy, but soon he wanted to get his hands on her as well! Time to hold the baby... Big brother was first. Alice was not very happy about that! lol
This is life. Wecome to the world, Emma!
xoxo
